About

Madeline Mangas, a Greek American soprano, elegantly bares her soul on stage. She is unapologetic when accessing her emotions, pulling from her own life experiences and fostering empathy. Ms. Mangas’ love for the arts began at an early age when she learned that music is an emotional language that unites us across borders and divisions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from the University of North Florida and a master’s degree from The Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.

Growing up in Orlando, Florida she participated in both professional musical theatre and operatic productions. In 2016, Ms. Mangas made her operatic debut as Papagena in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte with the European Music Academy where she performed all over Czech Republic. Her classical endeavors have provided her several opportunities to perform abroad through young artist programs, the most recent being Musiktheater Bavaria in Oberaudorf, Germany in the summer of 2023. While studying at the Frost School of Music she had the great honor of singing in the world premiere of composer Michael Dellaira’s opera The Leopard with Frost Opera Theatre under the direction of Jeffrey Buchman.

In addition to performing, Ms. Mangas is passionate about arts education, teaching students of all ages and levels and supporting them on their musical journey.
