September 2025 Student Spotlight

 Olivia is a dedicated voice student who has made remarkable progress in her vocal studies. A graduate of the University of Utah, she brings a rich artistic background as a ballerina with Azara Ballet and a choreographer for local theatre productions. Born in Minneapolis, Olivia is also an avid lover of books and nature. When she’s not rehearsing or performing, you might find her enjoying a honey lavender oatmilk latte, watching Shadow & Bone, or listening to the Hadestown soundtrack, her favorite musical.

  • Musiktheater Bavaria Summer Program 2023

    Reflecting on the past year’s successes and experiences, I am grateful for my time in Oberaudorf, Germany. I miss my talented colleagues, expert instructors, and the breathtaking scenery.

    While in Germany, I had the privilege of practicing my German language skills, traveling to other cities and countries, and honing in on my craft. I grew so much throughout the program both artistically and personally.

    I participated in voice lessons, coachings, masterclasses, diction classes, dance classes, and staging rehearsals multiple times each week.

    Oberaudorf is a beautiful small town in the mountains of Bavaria. Every person I met while I resided there, was kind and welcoming. I would wake up and look out the window to see a towering mountain, which was an incredible and spiritual experience for this Florida girl.
