Voice and Piano Studio

Hello, welcome to my studio!

My studio provides a safe, inclusive, and mental health-conscious learning environment. I strive to have open communication with students and their guardians and encourage them to let me know if they have any questions or concerns. I especially enjoy working with young singers and beginning students. I am patient, caring, and compassionate. I am most proud when my students have achieved their musical aspirations or just simply enjoy the act of singing or playing the piano.

I have experience working with private students from ages 7 to 68. I began my teaching career during the junior year of my undergraduate degree and established my private voice and beginning piano studio in the fall of 2019. I was inspired to provide students with the same compassionate and knowledgeable instruction I was provided by my mentors growing up. 

Shortly after my undergraduate career, I presented vocal masterclasses and pedagogy workshops within several Orlando local school system’s choral programs. I developed and taught a 7-week Vocal Pedagogy course for Central Florida Vocal Art’s initiative to continue arts education and taught underprivileged students in a county grant program during the pandemic lockdowns.

I am a proud member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and held leadership roles within my previous NATS chapter. I served as an adjudicator for the 2020, 2021, and 2023 NATS auditions and currently belong to the Tampa Bay NATS Chapter. 

I have experience teaching classical and musical theatre styles of singing in addition to beginning piano. Each student is unique and brings something special to the music they create. I strive to cater each lesson to the individual’s interests and supply them with the skills to achieve their musical aspirations. 

Sarasota has a special place in my heart because of my wonderful experience as the Education and Outreach Intern with Sarasota Youth Opera (2018) which launched my passion for participating in outreach and educating young musicians. My home studio is located off of Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota, Florida.
